Why Pirags?

Because they’re delicious!!!

I hadn’t eaten pirags since my Vatsmum passed away nearly 10 years ago, but in 2009 we went to Latvia where I introduced Donny to the beautifully sweet flavour of bacon and onion wrapped up in a warm yeast crescent shaped roll.

To me, pirags represent everything that’s good about food.

    I make Piragi every Christmas for my family and try to make them better than the year before,i have shown my children how to make them to keep the tradition going….food doesn’t get much better than warm piragi straight from the oven !!
